OoO i really like cabin 1. the red barn looking one. its right next to a hill nearby, so i'm sure the kids will enjoy that and i'm sure the adults will feel safer knowing it's so close by. plus, it has a JACUZZZZZZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

all right, so i've got a response from CABIN #2 (5 bed sleeps 16-20). It is going to cost us $1376.03 that includes taxes, for both nights. I'm starting to broaden my search for larger places because I'm sensing a lot more people are intending to go. I would really like to know if people are going so that I can minimize the cost of the cabin. I have also found a Lodge that has 7 beds and 5 baths. It's a huge HUGE place.... they've got openings for rental and costs $1695 for both nites. here's the website of the HUGE LODGE: www.bigbear-vacations.com/bigbear_home.htmlI have also gotten word back from this cabin: www.bigbearholidaylodge.com/I've tried this place last year, but we had too many people for it, but this year I think we can manage. It's a bit away from the slopes, but the house is nice... that's about it... all the activities have to be driven too... but only like 5-10 min. it's a long walk. The rate is $800 for both nights. It's far cheaper than the others, but it is also smaller in square footage. this is only 1900 sq. ft. versus the HUGE LODGE which is 5000 sq.ft.

Add Dan Wilson to the list, please! Whatever accommodations you guys get will be fine with us...but then again we are not that far from Big Bear so we can always go home and sleep at home and then come back the next day, too!!!

one more alternative....not to make it even more confusing than it already is! But Mountain High is a 20-minute or so drive from our house. Free room and board. Free food. Free internet. We have a jacuzzi and washer and dryer. What do you guys think? All you'd have to do is to bring sleeping bags and clothing and ski gear really. But we are always down for going with whatever you guys want to do. Just wanted to put this idea out there. Ok!
